Business prompts ready to copy
Templates for freelancers and small businesses: quotes, replies to customers and social posts. They give you a tidy first draft, but prices, terms and deadlines are your decision; always review them before sending anything to a customer.
Before you paste it: quick checklist
- Don’t paste real customer data or full invoices.
- Describe your business in one sentence: trade, type of customer and area.
- Ask for gaps in [brackets] so you can fill in real data yourself.
- Check any tax or legal obligation on the relevant official website.
Quote template
I’m a self-employed [trade]. Create an email template for sending quotes with gaps [CLIENT], [ITEMS], [AMOUNT] and [VALIDITY]. Maximum 150 words, plus a short version for messaging apps.
A month of posts
I run a [type] business in a [type of town]. Suggest 12 social media post ideas for this month: 4 useful, 4 behind-the-scenes and 4 product posts, with a short caption for each.
Customer FAQs
These are the questions customers ask me most: [questions]. Write clear 2–3 sentence answers. Mark in [square brackets] anything I need to fill in or confirm.
How to adapt it to your assistant
The template works the same in ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot or Claude because it only uses plain language. If your assistant supports fixed instructions (custom instructions, Gems or projects), you can store your preferred tone and format there and paste only the variable part. On a free plan, split long requests into two or three shorter messages.
