Terms of use
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of cognenza.com, a free outreach site about artificial intelligence, and of the internal tool Cognenza uses to publish content on its own social media accounts. They are complemented by the legal notice, the privacy policy and the cookie policy.
2. Use of the site
Access is free and requires no sign-up. You agree to use the site lawfully, not to harm its operation and not to try to access non-public areas. The content is general information: always check important facts against the official source.
3. Social media publishing tool
Cognenza uses its own, internal-only tool to publish its content on its own TikTok and Pinterest accounts through the official APIs of those platforms:
- Only the Cognenza team uses it, and only with Cognenza’s accounts. It is not open to the public and does not let third parties connect their accounts.
- It does not read, publish or change content on anyone else’s accounts.
- It only requests the permissions needed to publish and to check the status of our own posts.
- It complies with each platform’s terms: the TikTok Developer Terms of Service and the Pinterest Developer Guidelines.
The /oauth/callback/ page is only used to complete the authorisation of our accounts: it shows the code returned by the platform and stores nothing. What data is processed and how to revoke access is explained in the privacy policy.
4. Content and intellectual property
Cognenza’s texts and design may be quoted with a link to the source. Third-party trademarks (TikTok, Pinterest, ChatGPT and others) belong to their owners and are mentioned for information only. Cognenza is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok or Pinterest.
5. Availability and disconnection
We may change, suspend or withdraw the site or the tool at any time. If we stop using the tool, we will revoke the access granted on TikTok and Pinterest and delete the stored tokens.
6. Changes and governing law
If we change these terms, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date. They are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of habitual residence that apply to you.
7. Contact
For any question about these terms, write to contacto@cognenza.com.
8. Accounts and Cognenza Points (CP)
- Who can have an account: people aged 16 or over, one account per person and per mailbox. Accounts are optional: all free content can be read without one.
- Signing in: you sign in with a link that expires after 15 minutes and works only once. Do not forward it.
- Nickname: it is shown publicly (for example, in the invitations leaderboard, if you choose to take part). It must not impersonate anyone, including Cognenza, or be offensive; we may change it if it breaks these rules.
- CP have no monetary value: they cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for money or goods. They show your progress.
- Fair play: if we detect cheating, multiple accounts or fake referrals or votes, we may remove CP and badges, restrict the Lab or suspend the account. We will tell you why and you can reply via the contact address.
- Deletion: you can delete your account at any time from the account itself. If you have a sanction, the block survives the deletion: we keep only an encrypted digest of your email with the reason and dates, for 6 months after the last temporary sanction or, if permanent, while it is in force with a yearly review. You can appeal by email (see /en/privacidad/).
- Changes and availability: accounts are a free service in testing; we may pause them (for example, if the daily usage limit is reached) or change these terms with advance notice in your account.
