AI for designers: fast sketches, human judgement
How to bring AI into a design studio (moodboards, variations, presentation copy) without losing authorship, respecting rights and disclosing generated images.

Where it fits
- Moodboards and references to align with the client from day one.
- Variations of an idea to discard quickly. Tools compared in best AI for images; to work locally, see ComfyUI.
- Copy for presentations and tidy briefs.
Authorship and rights
Spain’s Intellectual Property Law protects the work of the person who creates it. Your value lies in deciding, combining and finishing. Avoid “in the style of” living artists and others’ logos.
Transparency
Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (art. 50) requires disclosure of generated images that could pass as real. The C2PA standard attaches content credentials showing how an image was made; many tools already add them.
Frequently asked questions

Must I disclose an image is AI?
Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (art. 50) requires disclosure of generated or manipulated images that may appear authentic (deep fakes). Even when it doesn’t apply, telling the client is good practice.
