Frequently asked questions
Does Copilot in Excel work with any file?
No. Microsoft says it needs AutoSave, i.e. the file must be in OneDrive; it doesn’t work with unsaved files.
Can I use Gemini with an .xlsx?
Google recommends converting it: File > Save as Google Sheets, as the feature works best with native files.
