Prepare a job interview with AI, out loud
How to rehearse a job interview with ChatGPT or Gemini Live: questions based on the job ad, answers with real examples and spoken practice on your phone.
What matters most in an interview isn’t knowing the answers but having said them out loud before. AI is a tireless rehearsal partner.
1. Prepare the material
Paste the job ad and a summary of your experience, without ID, phone or address. Need a CV first? See a CV that passes ATS.
2. Ask for likely questions
General (“tell me about yourself”), technical and situational (“tell me about a time…”). Ask it to rank them by likelihood.
3. Rehearse speaking
- Gemini Live: according to Google’s help, it’s for “practising out loud” and runs in the mobile app (not the web). Guide: Gemini Live.
- ChatGPT voice mode: guide.
4. Watch what it invents
If it suggests facts about the company, check its website: AI can be wrong. And keep your examples yours and real.
