Gemini 4 Argon: Google’s new advanced model
Google launches Gemini 4 Argon, its most powerful model, for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the Gemini app and in AI Mode in Search.
What it is
On 13 October 2026 Google released Gemini 4 Argon, which it presents as its frontier model for complex problems in science, coding and long tasks. Through the API it can work with up to one million tokens of combined input and output.

- Developers and businesses: via the API, at an introductory price until 30 November 2026.
Why it matters
